I want to make a webapplication invoice program.
The programs needs to add/modify customers and articles, to create invoices.
These invoices have to printed on local printer.
Is this a good way to use B4i or should I use something else?
And how do I put the resulting file(s) on the server of the provider?

sounds like B4J will be a good choice for that. You will need some skills in web programming (javascript, jQuery). I would recommand to check your server first, if you have root access and can install the needed things (jetty, jdk). You can use winSCP for example to transfer the files to your server.
Some starting points:

good luck

Definitely a B4j job, I would even suggest ABMaterial as it will dynamically adapt to the user browser, being it a desktop or mobile device (OS independent)
