I know of one company that uses GoogleAppEngine in their project... (Along with PhoneGap)
A bigger disaster I have not seen in quite some time (two ill-suited products combined together)! Kind of reminds me of MS-CE.
They are now looking for another solution (after spending 8 million dollars in dev) - traditional SQL and native development (which was recommended in the first place but - some designers are more cleaver than others). It is gonna take many (hopeful) subscriptions to recoup the dev costs.

Good luck to them and you.

Which service provider ?

Actually I installed my server made with B4J on Google Cloud but it was to expensive and I movied it to another service provider. It is very simple. All you need is SSH like any other VPS

So am I.
I have 6 of these servers and now that Hostwinds took over... There is some hope for support and backup..
Mine was 19 bucks per year but still a deal at 42 considering what they now do... WeLoveServers - the previous owner oversold and had little support staff that knew anything...

They are all Linux 12.04 and run all my B4X stuff. RDC, B4J with ABMaterial all work GREAT!
Just update to the latest Java when you get it primed.

I couldn't believe how freakin easy it was to get stuff running - less than 15 minutes and 10 of that was downloading the (very few) required files.

Hi
I planning to build a VPS in the WindHost. Could you tell me how to distribute B4J WebServer into my VPS of the WindHost ? :(
