so 2022 is gone and welcome 2023.
looking back on 2022 i am very disappointed from my b4x work. i did not completed all projects i wanted. But i did learn new stuff like b4r and web applications.
i want to get back to gaming and also make some cool b4a apps. having an iphone as my main device is a disadvantage. i can see that i am more focused on b4i and somehow b4a is less relevant because of that. so i am planning to get me a new android device and get back to b4a.

i also would like to see a coding contest in b4x forum like we did some years ago with prizes. i found a very old thread where erel offered 500$ for the best solution for a sudoku algorithm.

something like this would be really cool.

so what are your plans for 2023?

Also hope to see some nice bigger app ideas and forum members wo are interested can work together like a team to realize it.
I like this idea. I wanted long time ago to start working in a team with other members. More brains, more hands = better app solutions ?

My plans are easy for 2023, I am taking my children + partners and grand children to the St Lucia for a 2 week holiday next Xmas.

Some time ago on the b4x subforum of my Polish language I asked a similar question. Who would like to do a project together?? I did not get any answer. There are probably a few of us from my country who are writing.
But it would be nice with a few people from b4x to write something thicker, something that would go into the world, something that would make people ask what is it written in??

What about plans for this year?
I have started a nice project in b4x, of course, and I hope it will see the light of day. Increasing your own Python knowledge.

Not sure what kind of projects that interest the members here. I have assisted some members in their projects in the past by contributing to small pieces of codes. For myself, I also created some projects and shared the code on github. I always welcome fork and git push or even issue reporting. Recently I just feel tired as not much of my projects continue to get further interest. I am not getting motivated to do more.

I feel so overwhelmed sometimes.
Is it worth writing a joint project with someone?

this happens to many developers. working in a team can help because you have commitments. if the project is managed correctly there will not be time to get tired ?
What I mean by tired is disappointment of the project not going anywhere. I expect the project will grow and inspire more similar projects.

I want to emphasis on the project type. What type of project will attract more people to join? I think the lead must be very strong not only in programming skill and knowledge but also the EQ and communication skills.

this is the reason of tiredness that i was also talking about. i know exactly what you mean!

Are you guys need to generate an income with B4x or is it besides your regular job? (I use B4x for fun, except of one customer which generates about 300€ a year).
my goal is to quit my job and do coding for living. b4x or any other language it doesnot matter.
