B4J Question What exactly is the target environment of B4J?

Just a simple question.

Is B4J designed to write server-scripting software like PHP?

Or is it just ment to write software for use on the desktop?

If it is ment for server-scripting software, were can I find a beginners tutorial, like the B4A tutorial (which is great in my opinion)

At this moment I’m using PHP (NetBeans) with WAMP installed on my desktop, but I'm ready to switch to a better IDE

B4j compiles to java, which Evans it is cross platform.
You can create complete webservers and webapp ( not just scripts, but complete solutions ), create Windows apps and OSX apps. You can even run them (webservers or webapps) from any browser enabled device!

Note that B4J code is compiled.

B4J targets:

1. Desktop applications.
2. Backend solutions using jServer.
