Which postal address is closer?

Hi Everyone,

I would like to know if there is a way in B4A to get the geocode for a postal address and then assign it a unique number. If this can be done, please show me the coding needed to obtain the geocode and unique number.

I assume it would need to go out to a web site and get the geocode from there.

The WOEID that Yahoo! GeoPlanet™ returns looks like what I need.

Since I'm a beginner, it's way to complicated and confusing. I don't know where to start and feel completely helpless.

Can you or someone in the B4A community provide a sample project that lets a user type in a postal address in text boxes and send that address up to Yahoo! GeoPlanet™ to obtain the WOEID ?

I'm sure the B4A community would benefit tremendously from a sample project like that for the tutorial section.
