What doesn't work is the new phone.

This'll sound like a dumb question, but it might help narrow down where the problem is:

Does the same project that compiles and doesn't log with the new phone, still compile and log with the old phone?

Is the only difference between logging and not logging, the phone and version of Android and perhaps B4A Bridge?

Hello, all my projects, since 2012, compile, work and show the output to the B4A log window, on all phones and tablets that I have had and have.
In all but this last one that I have been given, a Huawei P Smart 2019, where it compiles and works perfectly also all my projects, the only difference is that it does not show anything in the log window of B4A.
Tomorrow I will try what I have been advised and see if it works or not the output to the B4A log window with this Huawei.

Did it fix itself, or did you have to do something or change something?

I have a vague recollection of similar problem in 2018, but I never found a guaranteed fix, it would just randomly fix itself and start working ok again next morning.
