Android Question Wierd behaviour of compiled apks

I have created 4 different apps, fairly similar in nature, and have them all installed on a Galaxy Note.

After some random time, I find that the icons are still there, but when I tap the icon I get a message 'App isnt installed'.

Now, strangely, this happens to 3 of the apks, never to the 4th. The way I remember, I have not used any different compiling option for any of these. So, I wonder what is causing this?

I tried it on another device with the same results. Also, I have not been able to discern a patterm (running a certain program causes this).

Any idea whats happenning at all?

Make sure that the package name of each app is unique.
