Android Question Ad Network Libraries

While searching the B4A forum I find a lot of ad libraries that are scattered in different posts, most of which seem outdated and non compliant with google policies (at least that's what the comments make it sound lik).
Can someone compile a list of ad network libraries available for B4A that are updated and safe to use on google play? I think that would be very helpful for all users especially newbies like me

I've seen that and searched for libraries myself, the problem i find though is that:
- not all libraries are listed there
- the ones listed are mostly out of date, and you only find that after going through a lot of posts.
- Sometimes the latest libraries are posted on page 14 of thread, and if you don't go through every post you won't find that out...

I might be asking for too much, but it would probably be great if someone that keeps track of all this would compile a list of updated libraries that are available for B4A.

Another thing that I wish could be done while searching the forum is to sort postings by date when searching. Every time i search for something like an ad network library, i get old posts from 2011...

I appreciate all the hard work everyone puts in maintaining this forum, and I think the B4A community is amazing for all what it offers, so please don't take my comment in any negative way.

Each library developer is responsible to maintain and update their libraries, sometimes it doesn't happen, so, your best bet is to subscribe to the link I mentioned above.

The search engine have been optimized to help you find libraries. You have two options:

So how does the search engine work as far as thread date? Does it show the ones with most updated posts first?

Also, I see that you updated admob library a couple month ago, do you know what other libraries for ads have been recently updated? Leadbolt? What about flurry, the last post about it was here:

The search engine gives a score boost to more recent threads.
The flurry wrapper is just an example of using SLC. It only implements the analytics feature of flurry.

Why do you say that the WIKI is not longer maintained?


I noted that Lonleystar added a library on May 13 and so did Warwound on May 10. I know that each library-developer is responsible for adding their libraries to the WIKI and they may decide to do it or not so the list may be incomplete but it is still good reference for many libraries.

I'm no longer updating official libraries in the wiki. All the libraries are listed in the additional libraries forum and are searchable with the search engine.

- Admob is uptodate

- Appflood, I found one on www.mobiadage.com/,but it dates from 2013, probably not something that you want to use on Google play. I contacted appflood and they said that they were not supporting B4A... Finally I found out that vpires (Nelson) has one available, you can contact him if you are interested.

- MoPub Library this seems like a large collection of ad networks (last updated December 2013, but I can't say that I understand how it works - I am a newbie and i probably need to read more on it) It contains the following jar files: Admob, appbrain, applift, applovin, chartboost, tap for tap, etc...

- Applovin, no longer supports B4A from what i read... and I don't know if someone has made a new library

Erel, I should thank you for creating basic4android. I have been using it for a short time now but the more I do the more I realize how great it is.

So this is a new feature introduced in V3.8 (I have not tried that yet), I was surprised when you mentioned it here because that is the first I read that B4A could do that... Very interesting!

I will update MoPub SDK to 2.2 this week , add more networks and write guide for simple integration of various networks. For now it rather complicated to use.

It only does banner ads, but I do include the Java source. It could probably be modified to do the other ad types Amazon offers. if you do modify it, please share your changes.

Thanks for the info and the library. I probably need to update this list with new information and libraries that have recently been updated or made. Maybe even start a new thread and provide even more information on ad network - which ones are good/bad. Not sure which part of the forum this should be in... any idea?
