Hello,

Is there a way to tweak the autocomplete/intellisense a bit so that it resets the search counter at each keypress ?

It is too slow and when I typed a line I really have to wait for the chars to appear.

Worst case making it optionally behave like before (ctrl + space)

there's not much happening file/reg wise either besides a few lookups that could lead to huge slowdowns.

there are exeptions happening when I start typing. I'll look around if this is a known issue.

I don't think that you will find anything useful with this.

Exceptions are thrown and handled because the compiler and parser throw exceptions when the code is not valid (which happens all the time when you are typing).

Good news from different fronts, @Erel.

The good ol' desktop performs almost right speedwise, it was teamviewer that slowed down things when controlling it from work. (a known bug the don't care to fix since v8)

This laptop went a bit faster when closing iTunes & Firefox as they seem to steel resources but only noticable in B4A.

But the best part is...

I installed beta 4 and turned off the implicit autocomplete and now it's way faster.

even better... the auto complete still works on defined items like views,strings etc and darn fast too!
