Android Question B4A-Bridge on Chromecast with google tv

I have just bought the Chromecast with google tv(4k). On the Google Play, I was trying to search for the B4A bridge and install, but it shows "B4A-Bridge by Anywhere Software isn't available on Google Play on this device". So this device cannot use B4A-Bridge for connection? or I miss out something

You can not install any App on a ChromeCast. At least i don´t know it better.

It is a closed System by itself. All you can do ( i think; you may tell me if i´m wrong) is to connect to the device using a ChromeCast-Library and Stream a Video with it.

I don't have a ChromeCast. I believe it is possible to sideload an APK.

Send the B4A-Bridge APK file to ChromeCast. Check the received file from File Explorer and proceed the installation.

Alternatively, try upload the B4A-Bridge APK to a server, Google Drive or Dropbox. Open the link using a web browser. Download and install the APK.

Well, you kind of can. I mean, I have installed Kodi on my ChromeCast and use that for my local media.

But I don't think I have access to install just any app from the Play Store. (I haven't tried messing with the system to circumvent their limitations.)

I guess that perhaps Google has cherry-picked a number of apps that they allow?

Casty is not maintained in Github, and this casty wrap seems that is not working anymore.

In what way is this library different to using Google Home to cast a video playing on a device to the TV?
Well, I think that from a user perspective it will be different. The user has to configure Google Home (I already did it and you have to go for some steps). In other hand, having this cast function in the player of my app is just to click the icon (like in youtube).
