The year is reaching its end which means a lot of minigame compos will reach their deadline aswell.

What about a minigame compo for B4A with a Christmas based theme for the game(s)?

A month left to create a minigame which should be enough.

Rules could be...

- Christmas/Winter themed
- Made in B4A (source need to be provided as proof)
- Made by yourself (not taking a flappy bird or match3 game example from this forum and just replace some gfx)
- Game may not be released before by you on Google Play (as in no quick game recycling by using new gfx to fit the theme)
- Filesize limit not set yet (5Mb?)
- Deadline reached, the poll is online.
- Voting from Dec 28 - Jan 1st via forum poll?
- Attenders/Winners might know the result on Jan 1 2015

Erel knowing, he might throw in some B4i+B4A,B4i license(s) or something for the winner or top3.

Erel is so kind to donate 3 B4i + hosted Mac builder licenses for the top 3.

So it's always worth attending for that, the fun , the challenge or to explore the other side of app building (games).

See it as promoting your skills and the possibilities of B4A.

Maybe the rest is waiting for the last day so that others can't rip off their idea? :)

I speak for myself.. it was pure and simple laziness.. eh eh
Anyway, later this evening or tomorrow morning I'll publish my contribution for the competition

I candidate it for the micro-game category being it a mere 830KB, half of which due to music alone.

I might have to join you in the micro category, currently at a mere 680KB but still some more to do. Hoping I'll get time to finish it over the weekend or maybe Monday as I'm off work (however the wife has a list of jobs for that day :(). Either way I'll post whatever I manage to get finished.

Here you are, my micro-game waiting for your feverish fingers:
http://umbetest.web44.net/en

Obviously the game is the topmost entry on the site page, but feel free to have a look at the other old stuff too.

Libraries used: Reflection, StringUtils and dgPickers
Classes: DraggableView, CustomListView
Module: StateManager (the Settings half of it).

Disclaimer: the game could lead to addiction. Use only when you're at the bus-stop or any other 5 minutes wait situation :)

I'm using:
FileHelper (my own lib to extract parts of a path)
JavaObject+Reflection
MSAnimator (my own yet-to-be released lib to do view animations)
Phone
Threading
MSStaggeredGridView (to be named MSGridViews and to-be-released one day, to do the drag/drop gridview)

Here is the paste from the B4A source, but many of them are added for experimentation:
NumberOfLibraries=13
Library1=core
Library2=javaobject
Library3=msstaggeredgridview
Library4=mediabrowser
Library5=filehelper
Library6=msanimator
Library7=reflection
Library8=msmaterialmenu
Library9=stdactionbarhelper
Library10=threading
Library11=phone
Library12=callsubextended
Library13=mscardview
