iOS Question B4i-Bridge doesn't install on iPhone 6 [SOLVED]

Dear all,

I am developing on an iPhone 12, everything's fine.

Now I wanted to see the app on an older iPhone: it's an iPhone 6, ios 12.5.7.
I tried to install the B4i-Bridge, compilation works, qr-code, installs - but the icon remains grey.

I guess developer mode comes with later ios.
Did I forget anything?

btw. the iPhone has no sim-card inserted.

Stupid mistake on my side.
I thought it's enough to add it in the Apple Developers Device List, but obviously I also have to update and download my provisional profile.

The problem is, if you just follow steps without really understanding the reason behind.
