I thought that instead of "Open Source" it would have been better "Open Project"; in fact, since "New" and "Save" implies "Project", I think that it should simply be "Open".
The English phrases are the "keys". The total number of translatable phrases is currently 809, though it doesn't mean that all phrases need to be translated.
Long answer: To avoid issues with end of line characters, as the source code is not always consistent, each item with multiple lines is created twice. One item with Chr(13) and the second with Chr(13) & Chr(10)
I guess that there is one multiline phrase that was translated as a single line phrase in Italian.
The status in the first post was updated. The numbers are now more correct as multiline items are counted once (not sure why Simplified Chinese shows more items than the English total).
Patches for Polish language have been added.
Successfully as I will catch small mistakes I will improve. @Erel tell me if there is a deadline for translation.
