Android Question B4XPages with AppCompat and Menu Icons

Further to my other thread i have been trying to get menu icons on B4Xpages, in my last Thread i managed to get that done but then i could not hide or remove the menu icons at runtime.

So i decided to start from the B4XPages with AppCompat and the code in that thread and see if i could add menus to it.

I have attached the code, It does not error, it just does not add the Menu's either, i seem to be able to do it in a non B4Xpages app but i have gone too far with B4Xpages in this app now to abandon it for a menu icon.

To Be clear its the "Testy" menu item that does not show

Any help is appreciated

I have been away from B4A for a while since my last project using it a couple of years ago, but Really liking the B4XPages, its a massive leap forward.
