Android Question browse (swipe) images thumbnails from an app folder

Hi guys,
I need some guidance to implement the below described screen. the small thumbnails below are loaded from a defined app folder (if more than x are present in the folder the user can swipe ). upon click of one of the thumbnails the image will be loaded in the bigger view (this should be easy once I get the scrollable thumbnails below...).
any idea?
