Not sure if its related to B4A, but to me it is. My software currently uses bluetooth SPP that B4A offers to connect to my device.
Problem is, I am seeing that most devices are slowly transitioning to BT4. I noticed the Tab 4 specifications, I dont see SPP anymore.
Has anyone tried using bluetooth on the tab 4 and using the SPP protocol? Is the protocol really starting to be phased out?
Reason I ask is all my devices out in the field are using BT2.1+EDR high power modules. Meaning I have just over a football field range, with RP-SMA antenna/connectors. and its the only one of these made that I see. LM058 modules.
