The excellent new abstract designer has a bug.
When you have looked at a layout and choose a different layout in the layout variants box all is well. The abstract designer resizes to the selected layout chosen from the layout variants box.
But, if you look at a layout and then choose a new layout file from the designer's FILE menu the layout resets to the topmost layout in the Layouts Variants box BUT the abstract designer retains the sizing of the previous layout you were viewing.
I hope that is clear. In other words, if you click on various layouts within the Layout Variants listbox the abstract designer resizes correctly for the chosen layout. But this resizing doesn't happen if you go to FILE and select a different layout file. The abstract designer box stays the same size as the previous layout you were working on but places the views for the default (top) layout over this old screen size.
