Android Question Can the size (length) of a Spinner dropdown be changed?

Can you change the number of items displayed in a spinner dropdown before it starts to scroll the rest of the items? I would like to maybe display just say 5 or 6 items and then scroll the rest if there is more.
If this can be done can someone explain how. Thankyou

It is not possible to change the number of displayed items.
