Android Question connexion to mysql server online

1. Post the jdbc url.
2. If I remember correctly the latest versions of mysql driver aren't compatible with Android. You need to use an older version.

1. Here is my jdbc url.

B4X:

Private jdbcUrl As String = "[I]NAME[/I].webapps.net"

How do I know if my mysql server is compatible with jdbc ?
2. I've tried with this driver :

B4X:

#AdditionalJar: mysql-connector-java-5.1.34-bin

and I have the same error

It is wrong.

Thanks, I changed it by :

B4X:

Private jdbcUrl As String = "jdbc:mysql://NAME.webapps.net:3306/c25database?characterEncoding=utf8"

but now the error is with the encoding :

B4X:

(WrongArgumentException) com.mysql.cj.exceptions.WrongArgumentException: Unsupported character encoding 'utf8'

Remove this: ?characterEncoding=utf8

I found my mistake.
I did'nt call the right database ?
