Android Question create .DOC file

not really. Just wanted to try the sample to see if it works
At the beginning of this thread i thought it will not work. But i got the sampe running (see my answer in the other thread) so i´m positive it will work.
But at this point it is really just the sample code which i compiled. But it works! At least with german umlauts.

PD: I can give you the source of the srw.jar. Seeing the source java files (and the methods containing) may help you to come further with javaobject.
I think German and English are supported at least for words I tried (For German I am just copying :D )
I wrote a very simple wrapper and still trying with changing header and language codes but still no success

It's huge, who wants to work hard a bit for free ? :)
Would be nice to have any simple lib for text with simple formatting, and maybe any picture insertion, but universal solution, for any language...

Yes, it is huge but you can do just a partial wrap for the features you need.
In fact, @Erel has already partially wrapped the Excel features for B4J.

I could not even compile the project with jPOI lib in B4A - i guess, such problematic and big in APK-size solution is not interesting for .DOC creation. It needs more light-weight variant or other file format .
