B4J Question Executable Jar File NOT LAUNCHING

Dear guys,

The Desktop Application is only launching from COMPILING F5

But the Executable Jar File generated opens a split-second, then CLOSES automatically

Can't understand why

Please help

Weird though - since you asked me to check:

In "Program Files (x86)" - jre1.8.0_121 and jdk1.8.0_121

But in "Program Files" - jre-9.0.4

Is there a clash of some sort?

And which one are you using in the IDE? Post the path to the javac.exe

Ok, i was expecting you have java 11 in use. In java 11 you can not create executables jars anymore.

For your issue. I guess your app just crashes. Check the Log. Run it from a commandline window and maybe see the error in the console

Are you executing the .jar from the command line? If not, try it from there. Any error messages the program displays should show up on the console

SOLVED THE PROBLEM - THANK TO YOU GUYS

The error was displayed in the console and I deleted the Sub

So now the .jar is launching
