Yes the height property only increases the view height.
I dont think you can increase the actual progress bar within the view. But not having used one in B4A i might be wrong.

Cheers mj

Where did you set your progressBar's width?

In designer, then i t looks ok but when I run app it is only a wery smal line.
I also tried to put progressbar1.with = 40 in the activity _create (firstimer) but theniI got errors.

Still unsure as to your problem ? Try this

B4X:
Sub Process_Globals
    'These global variables will be declared once when the application starts.
    'These variables can be accessed from all modules.

    Dim Timer1 As Timer

End Sub

Sub Globals

   Dim ProgressBar1 As ProgressBar
   Dim numProgress As Int

End Sub

Sub Activity_Create(FirstTime As Boolean)

   ProgressBar1.Initialize("")
     Activity.AddView(ProgressBar1,0,0,80%x,50dip)

     Timer1.Initialize("Timer1", 200) ' 1000 = 1 second
     Timer1.Enabled = True

End Sub
Sub Timer1_Tick

   'handle the tick events
   numProgress = numProgress + 5
   ProgressBar1.Progress = numProgress
   If numProgress > 70%x Then Timer1.Enabled = False

End Sub

Cheers mj

ProgressBar is a thin line

Hi, if I use your example the progress bar is a thin blue line , i found other examples that work correctly, but if i create my application with the same code, the progress bar becomes a thin blue line.
there is some parameter that i must set ?
Thanks
