Android Question Google Play Protect and download via B4a Bridge Problem- SOLVED

I am downloading an App via B4a Bridge and each time Google Play Protect wants to scan. I have found that after a few times of doing this it stops with " Cant complete scan" and "Check Internet connection". I know that the connection is fine.
Is there anyway to stop this annoying feature and let B4a Bridge do just what it used to do?

I get this every time I start a new client project with a new signing key. Have you seen this:

Just select ignore and after a while the message will stop appearing.

  1. Open Play Store app
  2. Tap on avatar on top right corner
  3. Tap on Play Protect menu
  4. Tap on gear icon button on top right corner
  5. Turn off the switch for
    Scan apps with Play Protect
    Play Protect can scan this
    device and warn you about
    harmful apps

I don't think its a good idea to Disable (Turn Off) Play Protect. There is a SKIP you can click.

This happens to me when I use B4A Bridge Android 13 device, I just press the install without scan and it skips to install. USB debugging h9owever do not have this issue.

1. Click MORE DETAILS

2. Press INSTALL WITHOUT SCANNING

Thanks Aeric and mcqueccu for your input on this issue. Also thanks rodmcm for bringing up this, new for me at least, scanning step during the compiling of my app. About a week or two ago I suddenly had that scan operation introduced and the solution here saves a little time and annoyance.

Pixel 7. I do not get the option to skip. I use USB-quicker. I do revert to Bridge if I am having issues since that is what is recommended but typically USB is fine.
