Android Question Hardware button

I have a brand new phone with an extra button that o want to use for may apps.
But i can not find any event for it .

Is there a way to "scan" or what is the best way to find out if the button is pressed ?

It is not a standard home or left , right button . It is an extra .

Hello,
If it is the SOS hardware button, it sends an intent but you won't receive it.

Hi

No it is not a SOS button.
It is a button that u can use for applications .
But i can not find the event for it .

But it is weekend no so i have the time to find it .......
