B4J Question Have Jar will travel; we hope.

We have a working java program complete with an executable jar file. What would be the simplest way to call and run this jar file from, say, a most basic B4J UI form or other container, perhaps called via a button control. This is how things are easily done in Visual Basic.

Stated another way; the java call at the cmd prompt works perfectly, but of course runs only in the black command line console view. Can we run the same file in some sort of B4J form, or text file, etc.?

You can use jShell to start any process. Run java.exe to start your jar.

You can monitor StdOut and StdErr and show them in your B4J program.
