iOS Question Hello, and where to start?

Hello everyone!

I'v just purchased B4i

I am familiar with VB6, actually I have a database (LAN & WAN enabled) project which I need to port it to Linux, Mac and the mobile platforms (iOS and Android when I purchase a license of B4A).

The back end database is PostgreSQL.

I am looking forward to port my VB6 to B4j and make another helper app (iOS & Android) to facilitate some functions to the clients.

I need your help to guide me to:
1- Where to start to get up and running as quick as possible with B4x products?
2- Point me of a good Report writer/engine lib. or program available to B4j?, currently I am using Crystal report with my old VB6 application.
3- Any libraries to send messages to clients through WhatsApp, SMS and email too?

Your help is much appreciated.

1. install them and purchase an apple dev license and remote builder if you haven't done already.
search for the beginners guide pdf & examples if you're not familiar with the B4x language yet.

2. reports usually run where the database is located so you better render the reports (on demand if possible)
with your VB app and put them online somewhere as pdf so that the app can download it

3. I'm not sure there is one for B4i, you'll have to search this forum for it.
