iOS Question how can i change panel backcolor when it is pressed?

but when i press the list ,the backcolor not change, then it is not good to make sure i have pressed the list

so how can i change panel backcolor when it is pressed?

can somebody help me ? thanks

It should change to the HighlightColor value:

Private HighlightColor As Int = Colors.LightGray (line 20)

i change button background image when the button state is touchdown
but i use this code to panel ,it is failed

You can put a button over the panel. Panels do not support different states like buttons.
