How to detect is serial already is in use.

Hi,

I have one app using bluetooth (serial port) that is running as a service.
Then I have another app there also using bluetooth (serial port), but this one I connect and disconnect manually.

My problem is the first with the service is running I can not connect with the second.

What I want do is detect if the service is running or the serial port already is in use.

Can anyone please help with a solution.

What happens when you try to connect with the second app and the first one already holds the connection? Maybe you can catch this error?
