ICON of *.apk file

Dear Basic4Android Friends.

Please for your advice.

I think that I have read many text about icon for app here on Basic4andoid forum

I have folders in objects/res/:
drawable
drawable-hdpi
drawable-ldpi
drawable-mdpi
drawable-xhdpi

In each folder I have one icon.jpg file with different resolution...

after installing my application in device I see my icone in instalation process and then in andorid device, everything is OK,

but here is question:

Why the main application file *.apk have standard green ICON? I cant choose the icone of main instalation file which I take from OBJECTS folder......

Please very much for your advice.

In the IDE ... Project > Choose Icon .

Dear MAnGOJACK,

thank you for your advice. I though it and I have tryed it, but when I choose some JPG file, then I get message : The Error occurred. The access to path is not allowed....

I tryed to choose many files and I get this message.
Please for advice.

Dear FRIENDS

I have read forum and I do standard MISTAKE

before choose ICON via PROJECT-CHOOSE ICON you must DELETE PREVIOUS ICON from file RES DRAWBLE and everything is OK, thank you very MUCH!!!!

see this thread .. Choose project icon

Are you trying to load an Image from one of your project folders ? . I'm guessing that if you copied an image to a folder .. ie C:\Icons , Renamed it and set the image to NOT ReadOnly you should not have a problem.
