The next version will allow you to connect to your device with a Bluetooth connection. This method is added to the current supported methods: USB debugging and wireless.

It was not a simple task. The result however seems to be quite good.

Up to 3 simultaneous connections are created and maintained for the following components: B4A-Bridge, visual designer and debugger.

After the release of the next version I plan to create a simple Bluetooth desktop server that will make it simpler to build applications that need to communicate with a local computer.

Great - any chance you can add shortcuts for these connections to the toolbar (I'm quite lazy so would prefer to click a "Connect" button rather than go through the menu system.

Any eta on the next version?

Thanks
Martin

Library

Great stuff; the bluetooth logic used in the android bridge and the logic used in the bt server, could that be encapsulated as a library or it is already based on the existing bt lib for b4a
