iOS Question iGoogleMaps - POI

Whatever I seem to do..... Googlemap.MapMode, GoogleMapsExtras... there seems to be no control over the appearance of certain layers on Google Maps. I'm talking about hotels, restaurants and other POI.

Is there any way to suppress these?
