I'm still looking for the libray for B4A compatible with jSerial library. (Easy to connect the card reader.)

Is this one you actually have in your possession? Do you know what that contact pad is for? It doesn't look like a usual layout for smartcards.

I have used it the presently. There is a hole for inserting the citizen id card for Thai people.

Have you got an app or software that works with the card reader?

Presumably it can at least read your name, and id number, and birthdate.

I vaguely remember people here reading passport information.

I'm still intrigued by those top contacts. Are they just a decorative label, or does something actually connect via those contacts?

Also, is the connection to the app via USB cable, or wireless?

Does the card reader have a battery? How does it get power?

I 've tested with SaimID for Windows, but it's not run on Android device.

I'm sorry that I didn't understand what you refer to him.

When I searched for images of Thai Citizen Card, to see what the electrical contacts on the card look like, his photo was one of the clearest. Plus it was a real card, not a pretend card. And it was relatively recent, not 20 years ago. That is why I chose that picture out of many.

What can you find out about the card reader via Device Manager? under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, then under Details. eg Hardware ID numbers might give us a clue as to the manufacturer.

Thank you all of you for today replies.Tomorrow, please kindly.

P.S. Anytime If you have to read a long text, you usually need Google Translate to help you read it in Thai. On the other hand, it must use the Microsoft keyboard. Help me type Thai into English. Sometimes, I may not understand the communication, I apologize here.Sometimes, I may not understand the communication, I apologize here.

Another idea: look in Windows Device Manager for any COM ports that appear when you connect the card reader.

But I can't show you a screenshot of what it would look like, because apparently my computer doesn't have any COM ports.

If you found the source code, it should able to list out the detected reader.
I made a software for reading the smart card for Malaysia using VB6 that is compatible with various models.
