Android Question Issue with signing and Alias - Resolved

Hello,
I 'm signing my app using B4A.
I've changed the alias in the two ini files in C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Anywhere Software\Basic4android to my desired value.
BTW, there are two files there: b4aV0.1.ini and b4xV5.ini
However, I've recreated the sign key and it still shows b4a in alias.
And while compiling I get this error:
jarsigner: Certificate chain not found for: ttm. ttm must reference a valid KeyStore key entry containing a private key and corresponding public key certificate chain.

"ttm" is my desired alias.

b4xV5.ini is the correct file.

How did you create the key?

I used B4A IDE. Tools-Private sign key

and it worked as expected, however, the question is why it didn't by just editing the B4A ini file.

Hard to say without seeing the keystore file.
