for some time now, compilation on my Mac mini (M2 chip) has been taking a very long time, but only the first compilation after a “clean project” or a change to the code.
The project is really very small.
What could be the cause?

Here is a screenshot; sometimes it even takes over 2 minutes.
This is based partly on this thread: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/sending-data-to-the-remote-compiler-error-b4i.124470/ To help with the "why does the compiling take so long", a report in the compile window with something like this might help: Sending to Server1: 3 min 34 sec...
I'm not an expert at all at this, but at this point I would be interested to know if you get the same slow speed if you use the hosted builders? And also, do you get the same slow speed for a completely new "hello world" project, if using the local builder?

Thanks a lot, Erel!
I just tested it, and compilation runs much faster with your “Hosted Builder.”
This means that something on my server is not configured correctly, but what?
I've been cleaning up my Mac Mini over the last few days, so this new test may look better than the others today.
When I compare the two compilations (Hosted Builder and my Local Builder), there is only a 3-second(18.85s - 15.10s) difference; I think that's acceptable.
I realized one more thing you could try, if you have the energy: create a brand new account on your Mac and install the builder in it. It just might make a difference.
