iOS Question Local Builder - compile on mac-mini is to slow

Hi,

for some time now, compilation on my Mac mini (M2 chip) has been taking a very long time, but only the first compilation after a “clean project” or a change to the code.
The project is really very small.

What could be the cause?
B4i Version 8.90

Here is a screenshot; sometimes it even takes over 2 minutes.

Yes, I even cleaned up the hard drive because it only had 7-8 GB free.

Here is today's test again.
1) B4i-start und compile

2) compile after a “clean project”

But that shouldn't be the case for me, because 1GB LAN should be sufficient, right?

You can monitor the RAM usage with Activity Monitor while it is compiling. Maybe it will reveal something.

Hi Erel,

I have now used the “Activity Monitor” and taken two screenshots, but I don't see anything serious.

I also disabled all automatic background processes, but noticed no improvement.

I'm not an expert at all at this, but at this point I would be interested to know if you get the same slow speed if you use the hosted builders? And also, do you get the same slow speed for a completely new "hello world" project, if using the local builder?

I could try it, but unfortunately I don't have access to the hosted builders.
Maybe Erel can give me access for a few tests?
