I haven't used that particular board/chip, but generally for SPI it is possible to hang multiple slaves off a single microcontroller SPI master, sharing the SCK, MOSI and MISI lines but using individual chip selects (for RC522 aka NSS = "Not Slave Select") so that the microcontroller is only talking to and hearing from one device at a time.
