Bug? Obfuscation setting not retained

It looks like the obfuscation setting in the build configuration is global to the IDE, not saved with each project.
I have a project I want to compile in "Release (obfuscaded)" mode and another in plain "Release" mode.
Each time I switch mode and open another project, the setting is retained as the last used mode, not the project setting.
Is it an intended behaviour?

Create a batch file that builds the project with the command line builder.
