Share My Creation Pairs4Android

Hi...I am almost finished with my conversion to Android of my Pairs game...
I've given it a new graphical interface, and added some simple animations...
Also a Score table was added...
I am posting here the apk, with just the easy level enabled, in order to get some feedback and bug detecting...
All sugestions are welcome...For now I have no icon, will add one when all is ready...but I am not very good at grafics creation...anyone willing to create one for me?
This Game will be made available FREE on the market, hopefully by mid february...

UpDate 1 - 2 Small Bugs Squashed....
UpDate 2 - Screen Res issues, hopefully solved, readjusted speed in game-play animations, Medium level enabled
UpDate 3 - Minor bug in Medium Level squashed....
UpDate 4 - Changed from Absolute screen coordinates to dip, hope this time the screen issue is solved...
UpDate 5 - Solved the Number format error, when the user takes too long solving the game...Corrected String size values...
UpDate 6 - Hard Level enabled...Haven't found more bugs to squash...
UpDate 7 - Some codelines were tweaked and I think that now 1,5 scale devices screen show OK...

APK UPLOADED TO THE MARKET, SEARCH FOR PAIRS4ANDROID
Some Aditional bugs were squashed...All level are un-blocked...

Hi Paolo,

The app runs on my Archos 101, but is only shown in the top left corner of the screen - not scaled to fill the screen.

My device is 1024 x 600 x 1 (160dpi), 10.1 inch widescreen.

App works fine except for the size.

I am for now targetting the phones, as it is a simple game...
There are too many screen sizes and scale factor to account for...
For now i will stick with 320x480 scale 1 and 480x800 scale 1,5 devices...
After completion, I can release in the forum speciall tablet versions...but for now, in concentrating in bug hunting and in placing it to the market...

I have now tested your last version, unfortunately the text "Pairs 4 Android" not yet fully visible.

How are you managing o take the screen shots? I'de like to sho how it shows up in mine...

I cannot understand why it still shows the strings over-sized...

Screenshot do is very simple.
Search in your "android-sdk_r08-windows"to "ddms.bat" and execute it.

So I assume these screenshots are from the emulator?

I've managed to find a small app to take screen shot in the device it self

here is a screenshot of the main menu, Easy game screen and Score table screen...is this what you see?

I think I have found the codelines responsabile for the erroneous behaviour...

A new apk is uploaded...

Great to ear...now I can focus on the last level (Very Hard) and some extra small changes...

How is game play for you, fun? anything to point out, good or bad?

Some Bugs were again found and squashed...related (Still) to the SoreTable View...But I have not yet updated the apk...I will do so when all the levels are playable and all known bugs aresquashed...wich will happen somewere during this weekend..
Due to CreditCard issues, I think that only in early March, I will be able to upload to the market..in the meanwhile, I will post the final apk...hope all enjoy...

I have finally finished my conversion of the Pairs Game, to Android...
4 Level are available to play.
I have tryed to kill as many bugs as I could, but some may have escaped, so if you see one, point me to it...
Special Thanks goes to Klaus and Andrew, wich original snippets used in the WinMo version, were again used in this conversion...
Thanks also to Filippo, wich took some time to help me solve the screen resolution issue.

I will be up-loading this to the Market, as soon as I can finally register to it...
Hope you all have some fun with this...
