Android Question Running a task even if the apk is in sleep ???

Hi all,

I would like to launch a task scanning a bluetooth device even if the app is not active on the screen (backgrounded).
Task must run whatever the phone status (exept if it is turn off !!)

Something like music player running music even if the phone is on hold.

Could you please tell me which is the best solution to do it ?
(maybe an existing thread link, but I didn't found it....)

You need to use StartServiceAt with a foreground service and a partial lock (PhoneWakeState).
