Android Question Send data to app by intent

I want my app to accept data paramers from third party app.
Example: Save 50$ expense that is sent as text or any other data format from another app !
What should I read first ..because I am totally do not know how to start , my hint will build a custom intent for my app bu how do they do it ?

My target is to buid a voice command to save earnigs and expense the will eventually promote another finacial app !

Are you writing both apps (the one that is sending the intent and the one that will receive it)?

If yes then you can create a static intent filter with a custom action and then send the intent with Phone.SendBroadcastIntent.

I will learn about intent filters ... and yes I am writing both app !! I try to find out why are you asking this question .:
It will be an easy way to simple write data on a file on sd card ...with file.write and and with the other app to read the specified file where the data is being writen ??

If are you writing both apps then it should be quite simple to implement this. First you need to learn about intent filters.
