This code is under open source license.
Under no circumstances can you sell it. It doesn't belong to you.

You mean you are posting the code that is not working?
It's working as you can see in the video but since I spent a lot of time and effort in developing it, the price is just an appreciation for this. If you don't like it ignore it otherwise nobody knows that you've seen it

It is too many words for a person like you who is not interested in the code. I suggest you remove your comment

I can't watch the video as it is not available, maybe not made available in my country.

I understand that you have made adjustment to the original code but you should ask permission from the author whether you are allowed to make profit from the code.

I suggest you remove the code above and rephrase your post.

Just make this a donation for people who are interested on your work.

Give credit by mentioning the original author name and linking back to the original project you modify the code from. This is more fair to the original author.

Explain to the community that the price you asked for is covering the effort to make the port from B4J to B4A.
at this point I'm curious to know who the original author is, I would like to make a donation to him

I don't know what you expected, but posting the same YouTube link twice doesn't automatically make it work.

Never mind, I'm leaving this thread.

The original code belongs to me.
And there is absolutely no question of making it a paid application. All my publications are free and should remain so. I AM NOT ASKING FOR ANY DONATIONS.
This application serves to demonstrate what can be done with B4X.
Please delete or close this thread.

Well, you did not mention any copyright or warranties in your original post because it was for fun as you said and then I quote you:
"You can use this code to display the download or upload speed in your applications."
I just deleted the price post.

Sorry I'm ignorant. I didn't understand well, I think I got confused, who took the time to develop this code?

Forgive me for asking this question, because I couldn't understand why there was a request for money for someone else's code.

The original b4j code was free and I adopted it for b4a which was not an easy job. The money request was cancelled.
