Spinners in Android 3.1

Has anyone else noticed a problem using spinners in Android 3.1. Although they display the selected value, they do not seem to read it. I noticed this when moving one of my programmes to an Asus Transformer running 3.1, but it can be confirmed by running the tips calculator program with Android 3.1. Whatever size of tip and number of people are selected they have no effect on the result?

There is a known issue with spinners and Android 3.x. It is caused due to a backwards issue in Android 3.x. A workaround will be available soon.
