Android Question Time to start the app

My app shows after 3 seconds the i touch and more 5 seconds to show the splash screen.
How can i know that is slow in the code?

What device(s) are you testing on?
What does your app do before showing the splash screen?
Can you post some code in order for us to try to help you?
