Android Code Snippet Use mouse wheel to quickly scroll through colors

This isn't exactly a code snippet since no code is used. But it is a tip that I thought I'd share. Not all Windows users are aware of this feature so it may save you some time.

Many of the drop down lists in Windows can be quickly traversed using the mouse's scroll wheel.
The Designer's Color selection is one such drop down list.

When you click on the Drawable > Color drop down list, the RGB color window appears.
To choose a predefined color most people click on the predefined color drop down and it opens up the predefined colors and they go looking for a color from the list scrolling up & down using the elevator. But there is a faster way to do it.

Click on the predefined color edit box to select it (without displaying the drop down list) and then use the mouse scroll wheel to rapidly move through the different colors. You can easily scroll through 10 colors per second, forwards or backwards through the list. This makes searching for colors a lot faster.

See the screen shot for more info.

As I mentioned earlier, the mouse scroll wheel can move through the items of virtually any drop down list the same way.
