Thanks for you reply, this example provides a way to connect to mysql from the device and return data. I am looking to have offline copies of data on the device where updates at both server level and device level are synced when changes are incurred.
I have reviewed Microsoft Sync Framework 4 which does what I want but I haven't seen any example with an android device only a Windows Phone 7 or Iphone devices. Just wondering if it was possible to use this framework with Basic4Android.
