WISH: Notifications Ticker

Android notifications can show a 'ticker' message that scrolls through the status bar when a notification is received. It would be great if B4A could implement this.

I believe that it is already supported. When the Notification body text is long enough Android scrolls it automatically.

No it doesn't scroll through the status bar at all. I mean how when a message is received the message scrolls through the status bar.

It is what scrolls through the status bar as shown in the screenshot.

In the Android documentation it says that when the Notification object is created the ticker text is defined. It is not set in setLatestEventInfo but in the object creation.

   n.Initialize
   n.SetInfo("aaaaa", "bbbbbbb", Main)
   n.Icon = "icon"
   Dim r As Reflector
   r.Target = n
   r.SetField("tickerText", "fkljw flkjwef lwje flwe jflwfe jwlfj wlf ", "java.lang.String")

I tried it, but nothing happend. Even if I call n.notify(1)...
