iOS Question [APP STORE] - App management

Hello everybody.
I finally managed to publish my first iOS app on the App Store thanks to @Erel's excellent B4i

Since this is my first time managing an iOS app on Apple's App Store, I was wondering what happens to the app when certificates expire.
For example, I noticed that the certificates I used to publish the app expire in mid-November.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Luca.

Nothing, if you pay your fee ?

In general I wanted to understand what happens to the app if I forget to renew the certificates.
Is it removed from the store (by Apple) when the certificates expire? Or does it stay online on the App Store but it is no longer possible to publish updates?

Then nobody can download it.

"If your membership has already expired when you renew, your renewal will activate once you complete the renewal process and any free apps you had available for download will become available again within 24 hours. Any paid apps you had available for download will become available again after you sign in to App Store Connect and complete your Paid Applications contract. You do not need to resubmit your apps. You will also receive two (2) new TSIs and regain access to any TSIs purchased separately from your Apple Developer Program. Please note that TSIs purchased separately expire one year from the date they were activated."

and

"If your Apple Developer Program membership expires, your apps will no longer be available for download and you won’t be able to submit new apps or updates. You’ll lose access to prerelease software, Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, and TSIs. However, your apps will still function for users who have already installed or downloaded them, and you will still have access to App Store Connect and free development resources."

Thanks for the appreciated explanations
So from what I understand, they are 2 different aspects.

One aspect is that of the certificate renewal which takes place for free through the Apple developer console and the other aspect is the account that must be paid for to be renewed.

So the exact procedure to renew the certificates would first be to renew them through the Apple Developer Console and then go to "install" and use them within B4i.

Correct ?
