In Russian, for the abbreviated spelling of the phrase “birthday”, the abbreviation ДР can be used (this is in Cyrillic). Is there a similar option for English, German and French?

Yes, the question was asked for graphic reasons. Need a short label in the context of “years have passed since birth.”

Except for loyalty schemes that send out birthday cards/vouchers/etc each year, most data collection is of birthdate, not birthday, usually to confirm that a person is of a certain age eg over 13 for Facebook, over 18 to vote, under 30 for youth hostel, under 80 for travel insurance, etc.

An example of this is that passports show the date of birth aka birthdate, not birthday:

birthday = dd/mm and occurs every year (although people born on 29/2 might disagree with this)
birthdate = dd/mm/yyyy and only occurs once

I reverse-engineered (ish) the French version and googled 'abbreviation date de naissance', and apparently 'DDN' is used.
