Android Question ShowKeyboard?

Hi All,

I've lost the soft keyboard. When I request focus for an EditText I don't get the KB, just the cursor on the ET. Lots of forum info to hide the keyboard, nothing to show it.
phone.hidekeyboard = false didn't work. [Despartation]

Is there a "Show Keyboard" or "KeyBoard.Bringtofront" command or similar?
