iOS Question Toolbar and Actionsheet integration

Hi All

I wanted to know how to integrate an actionsheet with either a toolbar or barbutton to give the look and feel of a menu system. I essentially want to have a launch visual object thats not triggered by a standard button.
Also how to implement a toolbar or barbutton a code example would be great.
